Martz Makes Strong Showing in First Truck Series Race

 

On a night when Toyotas dominated the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Race, Justin Martz driving the #07 Chevy of Green Light Racing made an impressive Truck Series debut in the Ram Tough 200 at Gateway International Raceway Saturday evening.  Justin had three goals going in to the race:  finish the race, place in the top twenty and bring the truck home in one piece – lofty goals for a driver in his first truck race.  More

 

Martz Tests at Caraway Speedway in Preparation for Gateway

 Martz to Compete in First Craftsman Series Truck Race

Justin Martz will take to the track in his first NASCAR Craftsman Series Truck Race this weekend at Martinsville, Virginia.  Martz, a Montana native, will be driving the No. 63 Superchips truck which is owned by MB Motorsports, Inc.  Last week Mike Mittler officially announced that Martz would become part of the same MB Motorsports team that has been instrumental in launching the careers of a number of top drivers including Carl Edwards and Jamie McMurray.  More

Justin Martz of Montana Races to Victory Lane at the Bullring Again

Newcomer Justin Martz of Montana had the crowd at the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway cheering again this week as he captured his second win of the new season. Martz had a strong qualifying time and after the invert was in the middle of a starting line-up that read like the “Who’s Who” of Bullring racing.   More

 

 

Third Time is the Charm for Justin Martz at the Bullring

It’s a long way from Montana to Las Vegas and last Saturday night on Justin Martz’s third visit to the Bullring he showed a cheering crowd why he came. Driving the #60 super late model of Quality Motorsports, Martz drew the sixth position for qualifying and quickly set the standard for the rest of the field by turning in the fast time of the evening and winning his first pole at the Bullring.  More
 

 

Martz Moves Up to Southwest Series

Justin Martz driving the #60 car of Martz Motorsports of Montana made his first appearance in the NASCAR AutoZone Elite Division Southwest Series this past weekend at Mesa Marin Raceway.  After starting near the rear of the pack, Martz charged up 15 positions to be in the lead for the Powerade Power Move-of-the-Race Award before he was bumped into the wall on lap 137 of the 150 lap race.  More

 

 

Martz and Quality Motorsports Open with Strong Showing in Dodge Showdown at Bullring
Last weekend’s Southern Nevada Dodge Dealers Dodge Showdown showcased the talent of the Quality Motorsports team owned by Jerry and Char Spilsbury. This year is the first year that Quality Motorsports has had all four of their cars on the track at the same time and Jerry Spilsbury was very happy with the performance of his team.  More
